This week’s Petawawa Toyota Local Legend is Jamie Hawes. Hawes has been running PRIDE events in Pembroke for almost 10 years. Jamie has been the voice for the LGTBQIA2S+ within the valley, inspiring other municipalities to hold their own PRIDE events. Hawes tells myFM that PRIDE is going to grow bigger and bigger every year, with next year marking it’s 10th anniversary. Listen here to the full interview with Jamie.
