Congratulations to Stephen Hubbard of Barry’s Bay, who won the first Early Bird draw in the Growing TogethER Lottery! The draw took place on November 8, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, where Stephen was awarded a Yeti package valued at $1,500. The prize was generously provided in partnership with Mad Outdoors. Stephen purchased his winning ticket at Lorraine’s Pharmasave and plans to keep a few items for himself while giving the rest to his grandkids.
This exciting win comes as the Growing TogethER Lottery continues to raise funds for important improvements at St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Proceeds from the lottery will support the redevelopment of the hospital’s emergency department and the renovation of its ambulatory care clinic. As of now, more than 75% of tickets have already been sold.
The next Early Bird deadline is fast approaching on Wednesday, November 20. All tickets purchased before this deadline will be entered into a draw to win $1,000 in cash. Additionally, tickets purchased before December 23, will have the chance to win a 2024 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid XSE, valued at over $56,000, or a cash option of $44,000. This grand prize is generously sponsored by Petawawa Toyota and Ben Hokum and Son.
