Santa Claus sure is getting busy with several local stops this weekend.
Along with Saturday evening’s Pembroke parade, the man in red will be in White Lake for the fourth annual White Lake Santa Claus Parade at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29. Donations will be collected for the Arnprior food bank and Santa is all set for a meet and greet at the Women’s Institute Hall following the parade.
Saturday, Nov. 30 at 1:30 p.m. is the Cobden Santa Claus Parade, led by the Renfrew Pipe Band. Along the route, letters to Santa, as well as food bank donations, will be collected, and Santa’s helpers will be handing out treats.
Then, on Saturday, Nov. 30 it’s Shawville’s turn, with the Parade of Lights beginning at 5:30 p.m. Santa Claus will be meeting at the Community Lodge following the parade at 244 Rue Main.
