When living in an area where community is everything, this business owner makes sure to go above and beyond for his community. LaHay HVAC, BBQ, Patio & Fireplace Centre located at 125 Belmont Ave. in Pembroke has been serving the Ottawa Valley for almost 15 years. Owner Raymond LaHay started the business model ‘Better Service at a Better Price’ 15 years ago in hopes to grow and that he did. LaHay’s is a family-owned and operated business that sells Napoleon HVAC, Barbeques and fireplaces.
LaHay tells myFM that over the years he has figured the best practice to be able to offer the business model ‘Better Service at a Better Price’ to the community.
LaHay explains that giving back to the community is something he has always strived for his business, to be able to help. Over the years, the business has helped in fundraiser for charities like The Robbie Dean Centre and the Jason Blain Charity Golf Tournament. He tells myFM that they don’t stop there…
With this being a family-owned business, LaHay’s sister works the front desk and his son will one day follow in his dads foot steps. “I hope to retire and be able to help him grow the business even more,” said LaHay. When looking for a new furnaces or upgrades things can get confusing real fast, LaHay explains how the process would work.
As the community plays such a big role in LaHays life, when asked about his favourite part of his job this is what he had to say.
