The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation (PRHF) is excited to announce that Leona Carroll of Waltham is the winner of the Week 20 Catch the Ace progressive jackpot raffle. Carroll’s ticket revealed the 7 of Hearts, earning her a weekly prize of $7,633. The draw was made using the online random generator, and the announcement was presented by OK Tire Pembroke.
Roger Martin, Executive Director of PRHF, shared that the Week 21 draw has now begun, with an estimated jackpot of over $158,000 up for grabs if the Ace of Spades is drawn.
“We are grateful to our 2024 presenting sponsor, OK Tire, whose support ensures that more of the funds raised through Catch the Ace go directly to purchasing new equipment for Pembroke Regional Hospital,” Martin said. “Over the past 20 weeks, the raffle has raised more than $230,000. This has helped fund the purchase of 10 new hospital beds valued at $117,170, and we are now raising money for a new Ultrasound machine for the Diagnostic Imaging Department, which costs $200,000.”
Tickets for the next draw are available online at www.PRHcatchtheace.ca, as well as at local locations including Holiday Inn Express, Cork Culture, NRTC Communications in Petawawa, Bumpy Roads Studio in downtown Pembroke, and Making Seasons Bright.
The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s Catch the Ace raffle offers a guaranteed weekly prize and a growing progressive jackpot. Ticket prices are 3 for $5, 10 for $10, 50 for $20, and 250 for $40. Each ticket gives participants the chance to win both the weekly prize and the jackpot, with 50% of ticket sales supporting the hospital’s most urgent equipment needs.
The PRHF extends its thanks to the community and donors for their continued support. Donations are always welcome and can be made by contacting the Foundation Office at (613) 732-2811, extension 7408, or by visiting www.prhfoundation.com.
