One Pembroke resident is walking away with a brand new 2024 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid XSE or $44,000 cash! Shannon Clouthier of Pembroke is the lucky winner of the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Growing TogethER Lottery. Shannon must be carrying around a lucky rabbits foot as he was one of the early bird winners, taking home the $1,000 cash prize! With the winnings from the early bird, Clouthier purchased more tickets which ended up working out in his favour.
Erin Gienow, Executive Director at St Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation tells myFM how the community came together to support this campaign.
The proceeds from the Growing TogethER Lottery will fund the redevelopment of the emergency department and the renovation of the ambulatory care clinic at St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Both Dean Felhaber from Ben Hokum and Sons and Mike Douglas from Pembroke Toyota who partnered with SFVHF both explain why these upgrades are so important for the community.
Gienow tells myFM where the proceeds from the lottery will be used towards.
At the end of it all, the Growing TogethER Lottery raised over $136,000 which will be utilized for the essential upgrades needed at the hospital. The foundation will be holding a presentation with the grand prize winner Shannon Clouthier on a later date, stay with us for the date.
