St Patricks Day is not too far off and the Ottawa Valley’s own Gillan Rutz is already gearing up for this years Ceilidh (Kay-Lee) Kitchen Party. This annual event celebrating the Ottawa Valley’s rich Irish heritage and the enduring spirit of its people is being held on Sunday March 16th between 2PM and 4PM at the Festival Hall @ L’Equinoxe, Pembroke.
Complete with rollicking Irish tunes, nostalgic shanty songs, and captivating tales passed down through time, this show honours the deep roots of our valley communities while embracing the vibrant character of the land. Rutz himself gives us a hint at what the event is all about:
The Fiddlaires & Friends along with a mystery guest will be attending and Gillan assures us that the day will be a memorable one. Tickets go for $29 and can be purchased at the Festival Hall box office at 401 Isabella Street or at the Festival Hall website.
