The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break-and-enter incident that occurred at a hunt camp on Wingle Road. The theft took place between January 24 and 26.
During the break-in, the suspect(s) gained access to the camp and stole three firearms: an Antonio Zoli brand shotgun and two .22 calibre rifles. Additionally, various fishing and hunting equipment was taken from the premises.
The OPP is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Individuals can contact the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP at 613-757-2600 or Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be submitted online at www.valleytips.ca.
Authorities are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in the area.
