A tradition of speed and power returns to Eganville for an important stop on the pro snowmobile racing circuit this weekend.
The 49th annual Bonnechere Cup promises to light up the Oval Track on Snodrifters Road with two days of adrenaline-fueled races that Race Director Scott Clark says are sure to thrill the crowd.
Not only is this weekend crucial for teams fighting for the top spot in the USSA Prostar Cup Tour points race, but it also will feature everything from vintage snow cross to high-performance snowmobile and ATV classes and even some truly unique machines.
Clark says the race weekend wouldn’t be possible without the many community sponsors, who not only help with the financial side of the event but also provide the equipment required to keep the track in top condition as the schedule rolls on.
He says fans can even get an early taste of what they can expect from the competition as teams get their practice in during hotlapping on Friday afternoon.
Single-day tickets are available online for $25 each, while weekend passes are available for $40. Kids 12 and under enter for free.
