After an electric response to their first-ever fight night last summer, Renfrew Muay Thai is hoping this weekend’s sequel can outdo the original.
Victory in the Valley 2 returns to the Renfrew Armouries this Saturday, February 1st, featuring what promoter Jeff Harrison says are “some of the region’s most talented fighters going head-to-head in electrifying bouts.”
In a recent promotion of the event, Harrison explained that the packed crowd and overwhelming reception to their nine-fight card back in June left him eager to return to the Valley for more.
Renfrew Muay Thai will be well represented when the bell rings on Saturday night, with local fighters Charlie Leclaire, Marcus Ticknovich, and “Hot Rod” Stephan Young on the undercard.
On top of that, Harrison says they’re offering two main event calibre fights to end the evening, including Renfrew’s Maumer “Boomer” Brkic’s return to the venue where he made his A-Class debut last year.
Harrison also pointed out how important successful events in smaller venues are for growing the sport, as many greats get their first shots at events like Victory in the Valley.
Tickets are available both online and at Renfrew Muay Thai’s gym at 24 Renfrew Avenue West.
