Garrison Petawawa is getting ready to celebrate with its annual Family Day. The day includes a large selection of military displays, live entertainment, a tasty BBQ and the Colour Run. Garrison Family Day is open to all members of the community and looks to showcase the capabilities of Petawawa units, Personnel Support Programs, the Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre and more. Commander of the 4th Canadian Division Support Group, Colonel Louis Lapointe, says Garrison Family Day is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate their accomplishments. Garrison Petawawa is welcoming new members of the Department of National Defence, the Canadian Armed Forces and their families by hosting this free admission event. The event takes place at the Dundonald Hall sports field on Saturday September 7th from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
