A proposed 32-unit apartment building in downtown Deep River is getting its paperwork finalized before breaking ground later in the Spring.

Lavre says the addition will ease pressures for accomodations within the community.
Elderly homesteaders will have an alternative to being winter snowbirds, and military retirees are calling Deep River home in increasing numbers.
TSH Montcalm says construction will take about a year and a half to complete. The firm is both developer and landlord for the site.
