It’s unknown when students will return to class. As the province and the country continues to step up efforts to contain COVID-19, the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board is focusing on learning strategies. The board is working on a plan to re-connect with students using digital learning tools including Google Apps for Education. They hope to integrate this e-learning option with the Learning At Home portal recently released by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Though is not an ideal solution for everyone, it’s a step in the right direction. The board hopes to have a better understanding for distance learning after April 6th, if it’s announced schools are to remained closed. Parents and students can follow updates by monitoring the board’s website.
