This may be a first, but the City of Pembroke is looking for volunteers to receive municipal services bills.
Just to clarify- it’s for City property taxes and/or water/sewer invoices you already owe!
Pembroke has recently upgraded its billing system to allow property tax and water/sewer bills to be sent to property owners via email, and is looking for volunteers to test out this new system before rolling out the new service to everyone.
To sign up for e-billing, you will first need to complete a registration form available on the City’s website (bit.ly/PembrokeEBilling).
Completed e-billing registration forms can be emailed back to ebilling@pembroke.ca, faxed or mailed or dropped off at City Hall.
Once owners are signed up, property and water/sewer bills will be sent to the designated email address.
A copy of the e-bill can then be downloaded and printed directly from the email account if required.
Owners would then no longer receive a paper copy of the bill by regular mail, but you can decide you like the old system better if that’s your preference.
If you are interested in testing out this new service, register by June 18th and your June 22nd invoice will be emailed to you instead of mailing out a the traditional paper copy.
