The Deep River and District Hospital is gradually restarting scheduled care.
This week (June 29th) the hospital will resume diagnostic imaging such as x-ray and ultrasound services.
The Deep River and District Hospital will start by completing tests that have been delayed due to the pandemic and will contact priority patients first.
Those attending the hospital in Deep River are required to wear a mask. You’re asked to bring your own, but if you don’t have one a mask will be supplied.
Patients are asked to arrive no more than 5 minutes early for their appointments to minimize traffic and the number of people in the waiting room.
You’re also not allowed to bring anyone with you when you attend the hospital unless they require physical assistance or are a child.
The Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre will still be available for residents who have non-life-threatening health concerns and those who don’t have a family doctor.
