The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP continues to investigate after a business in downtown Pembroke was damaged.
Police say a bank ATM and the window of a business in the 100 block of Pembroke Street West were damaged sometime overnight between December 6th and 7th.
Officers say the subject resisted arrest and while in police custody they set an article of clothing on fire in the holding cell.
Early this morning (December 7th), police arrested 33-year-old Richard Rheal Donald Farr of Pembroke with two counts of mischief under $5,000, causing a disturbance, resisting a peace officer, failure to comply with a probation order, arson (damage to property) and possession of incendiary material.
Local police continue to investigate similar acts of property damage in the Elizabeth Street, William Street, and Esther Street areas in Pembroke.

The accused remains in custody until their next court appearance scheduled for December 16th in Pembroke.
