Multiple animals were killed a house fire in Pembroke Tuesday afternoon. According to the Pembroke Fire Department, the call came out around 4pm to a report of smoke coming from the second floor of a home at the corner of Metcalfe and Cecelia Streets. No one was home when the fire sparked and other then the house pets, no injuries are being reported. The cause and origin of the fire is still unknown and is being investigated.
