Two new Provincial Constables (PC) have recently joined the ranks at the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP.
PC Hunter Adams served three years with the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) as a Military Police Officer before becoming a member of the OPP.
Adams is originally from the Thornton, Ontario area and was posted to Petawawa with the military and became interested in a policing career with the OPP.
PC Jared Moore is from the Dufferin County area of Ontario.
He is graduate of the University of Guelph-Humber and earned a diploma in Police Foundations and a degree in Justice Studies.
The UOV OPP Detachment’s new officers have each been assigned a coach officer and have commenced their one year probationary period in late September.
Both new officers look forward to living and policing in the Ottawa Valley.
The OPP actively recruits and interviews potential candidates throughout the year.
