Christmas and Santa are coming to the Petawawa Heritage Village.
The Christmas in the Village event takes place on Sunday, December 5th and is free to attend.
One of the organizers Grace Gendron says gates open at 2:00pm and the event continues until 6:00pm.
Santa will be there and you can drop off letters or take a tractor ride through the Heritage Village.
There will also be live music, warming stations, fire pits and the buildings in the Heritage Village will be decorated for the holiday season.
Gendron says they’re only allowed 100 people in the venue at a time, so there could be a line-up to get in, so be sure to dress warm.
You can tour the Petawawa Heritage Village, but are asked to wear a mask if you plan to go inside any of the buildings.
The Christmas in the Village event will take place the day after the Petawawa Santa Parade of Lights which is scheduled for Saturday, December 4th at 6:00pm.
You can get more details on the event page or on the Petawawa Heritage Village website.
