An update now on the house fire in Petawawa from Tuesday night. Petawawa Fire crews were on scene of the fire at 38 Bedard Boulevard just before 8pm when flames could be seen coming from the roof. Everyone in the home was accounted for, but it took firefighters two hours to bring the blaze under control. The Garrison Petawawa Fire Department also provided assistance. The home is deemed a total loss due to the fire and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s’ Office and the Town of Petawawa Fire Department are investigating the cause.
