Canada Day in Pembroke
The City of Pembroke and Downtown Pembroke are gearing up for another year of Canada Day festivities on July 1st presented by The Brick with help from Tim Hortons. From 12:00-4:00 p.m. at Waterfront Park (Pembroke Marina), families can enjoy a variety of exciting activities including bouncy castles, a small animal petting zoo, inflatables and water activities from Ry-J’s, interactive games, displays, trail ride and more! The festivities will begin with the Opening Ceremony taking place at the amphitheatre at 12:00 p.m., followed by Aimee Bailey leading the Circle Turtle Lodge at 1:00 p.m. Live entertainment will continue at the amphitheatre through the afternoon with performances by Junkyard Symphony, Gillan Rutz, Adam Fieldhouse, All Canadian Surf Band and headliner Andrew Hyatt! Our day of celebration will then conclude with the annual fireworks show at Riverside Park beginning at 10:00 p.m. Our 2022 Canada Day celebrations are presented by The Brick, with help from Tim Hortons. As well, stage partner Bob’s Music Plus and King’s Sports Inc. Funding from the Government of Canada through the Celebrate Canada Grant has also made this event possible. We hope to see everyone come out to take part in free family fun as we celebrate Canada’s 154th anniversary.
